The Second Change

Everything a woman above 40 should know

About the program

1 in 4 women in the world are above 40. In their lifetime women go through two major hormonal changes. While, the first change, puberty is highly talked about, the second change gets very little attention. Starting from infancy, female hormones play a crucial role in a woman’s life. They impact every aspect of a woman’s life – her physical, mental, social, and reproductive health. The monthly fluctuations of these hormones lead to the menstrual cycle.

At their best, with everything functioning well, women have to bear the discomfort of the menstrual cycle. However, when the hormones get imbalanced, women can experience difficult conditions including PCOS and infertility. The 4th or 5th decade of life sees another significant shift in a woman’s life: Menopause. However, very little information or support is available to women to navigate this significant change. Menopause effectively removes the protection of female hormones and leaves women vulnerable to a whole myriad of health conditions. Plus there is the social and cultural impact of this change.

We invite you to join The Second Change- the first workshop of its kind, empowering you to take charge of your health & support your body and mind holistically as you move through this life-affirming phase of life.
